While Softdial Scripter™ Designer components determine the logical progression of a script, Screen Steps provide the agent's view of the script as it proceeds through the script logic.
Softdial Scripter™ Screens provide the user interaction features such as labels, buttons, selection boxes etc and determine the 'look and feel' of the agent view by incorporating images, colour schemes and layout templates.
Screen editing may be performed in the Scripter Page Editor which provides basic functionality for adding, positioning and setting page element parameters, or for more sophisticated graphical manipulation, Softdial Scripter™ has been integrated with Microsoft Expression Blend.
The preferred editor can be set in the Tools > Options window. Select Screen Editor and the check the radio button next to the required editor (Fig. 1).
If you select Expression Blend, you will need to set the path to the Blend.exe application as shown.
For the purpose of these topics we will use the Scripter Page Editor tool.
