Multiple Campaign Issues
Softdial CallGem™ easily copes with multiple campaigns. Listed below are various points that you need to be aware of:
Number of simultaneous campaigns
There really is no practical limit, but if you plan to run more than twenty campaigns simultaneously we suggest you contact Sytel, for advice on what processor type you mandate. See also Configuration Issues.
Number of agents logged on simultaneously
Softdial CallGem™ has been designed to cope with agent numbers in four figures. Nevertheless, if you are planning on more than 500 agents for any one installation, please contact Sytel for advice on your minimum platform specification.
Agent descriptions
Descriptions given to agents using the Agent Description (AD) parameter in the Agent Login [AL] message must be unique within Softdial CallGem™, otherwise an error message will be issued. When operating in multiple tenant mode, descriptions must be unique within tenant.
Agent identifier
The Agent identifier (AN) parameter is unique across all open campaigns. An attempt to log on an additional agent with the same number as one already logged on will be rejected with an error message. When operating in multiple tenant mode, identifications must be unique within tenant.
